In recent years, the Azerion Vrouwen Eredivisie has undergone a meteoric rise and secured a unique position in the Dutch football landscape. It’s a league where everyone is welcome, setting an example for how we interact with each other. With clubs competing for titles while simultaneously demonstrating that it’s all about more than just 90 minutes on the pitch.
At the Azerion Women’s Eredivisie, you can be a spectator or become a fan. But a professional footballer, international player, or national team coach as well. At every position you aspire to become, we see that sparkle in the eyes. From Amira to Femke, from Merel to Fenna and from Lieke to Sarina. Through the power of this spark, women’s football grows bigger and bigger every day. Spark the Game.
The league positions itself as a catalyst for gender equality, aiming to create an equitable position, both on and off the field, for the current generation of girls. The players of the Azerion Vrouwen Eredivisie are at the forefront of this mission. The target group of the league, primarily girls aged 8 to 16, represents our future. They are the future generation of coaches, top players, directors, technicians, and more. The Azerion Vrouwen Eredivisie aims to make a difference for this group because the reality is that women still do not have an equal position in the world. Even in the Netherlands, girls/women do not have the same opportunities as boys/men.
We are proud to support the league along with its partners in this ambition as Teamplayers by:
- Repositioning the Azerion Vrouwen Eredivisie as a platform and a stage for an equitable position, both on and off the pitch, for the current generation of girls.
- Developing a strategic partnership model and partnership proposition with societal relevance.
- Providing guidance and advice on ongoing and new (marketing) campaigns.
